Quick Shop had its world premiere at the Lancaster Area Film Festival this past Saturday. We had a good crowd at our screening and I must say, we got a lot more laughs than I expected. People actually laughed at the parts that I thought would be funny…it was pretty cool!
I really have to thank everyone who made it out there to support the film. Aimee and Tom were there from the cast, as well as my family, my wife’s family and even some friends from work. I really appreciate all your support and I hoped you liked the finished product.
I also got the opportunity to see Luke Matheny’s film God of Love, the winner of the 2011 Academy Award for best live action short film. I have to admit, it was very well done. It had a good script, was well shot and well acted by Mr. Matheny. He deserves all the credit he’s getting for the film.
I added some pictures from the festival (most of them taken by the guys who ran the festival) to the media page. I wish I would have taken some pictures of me, Tom and Aimee but it just plain slipped my mind. Oh well, I’m hoping we’ll have other photo ops at some other festivals 🙂
