Keep on truckin…

So here it is February already, and I’m finally starting to get somewhere with Quick Shop! I’ve recently been in contact with Rob Hercik, an actor who has signed on to play the role of Trevor. Another role has been filled…that of the red-booted, bearded killer by none other than the main writer of the script John Leary! That only leaves one spot to fill, and that is the role of Hunter. I’ve got my friend Leena Devlin from work searching for a good actor. She’s the director of a theater company in Pottstown, so she has access to many a fine actor.

I recently moved my domain names and hosting over to 1and1.com…nothing too exciting there. I also had to move my pictures (and videos) to PhotoBucket.com. You can check them out here:
So now it’s a matter of filling that last spot and planning this whole thing. I’d like to shoot it over the course of two weekends, sometime before July. I guess we’ll see how that goes.

IndieGoGo Site

I just set up an area on IndieGoGo.com for my new movie Quick Shop. Check it out here:

I posted some photo-shopped pictures of the meat market where we’ll be shooting. As soon as Grover Silcox (hopefully) signs on to star, I’m going to attempt to add Quick Shop to IMDB.

Script Lock

I’ve finally nailed down a script and sent it out to Jeannie Stith and Grover Silcox to get their buy-in. Target shoot date is summer 2010. Guess I’d better get cracking on the casting and everything else! 🙂

Big Red has a home

Big Red is the name of Scott Lobaugh’s truck, which will be used for the driving scenes. I talked to Darryl Moser today and he said we could shoot the scenes with Big Red in his garage. This is good as it gives us a location close to Big Red’s home where we can control the conditions (in case of inclement weather). On Thursday Scott and I will be visiting Big Red and attempt to wire frame out the back window in order to create the green screen backdrop. We’ll see how that goes…
